Air Haifa Rescue Flights: Latest Update
Air Haifa Continues Operating Rescue Flights from Larnaca to Haifa
Here is the latest update: the airline announces that today, Thursday, June 19, 2025, and throughout the coming week, nine rescue flights are scheduled from Larnaca Airport (LCA) in Cyprus to Haifa International Airport.
According to the company’s statement, the flights are currently allocated to Air Haifa passengers in need of rescue. The company requests that all passengers check their booking details in the “My Booking” section on the company’s website to confirm their flight assignment.
Customers who have been assigned a flight but do not require it are asked to send their booking number to the email address: [email protected], to free up their seat for other passengers and receive a financial credit accordingly.
Air Haifa, a young and dynamic airline, operates with a modern yet small fleet and a dedicated and professional team. Despite logistical and security challenges, the company successfully returns hundreds of passengers to Israel daily and handles thousands of customer inquiries from both Israel and abroad.
The company stated: “We read every inquiry with an open heart, do our utmost on every flight, and thank passengers for their understanding, patience, and trust. We are aware that some inquiries involve particularly sensitive humanitarian cases and work closely with the relevant authorities.”
Additionally, Air Haifa expressed appreciation for the General Security Service (Shin Bet) for its diligent and dedicated work under particularly complex conditions, aiming to assist in safely returning passengers to the country.
These rescue flights have become a lifeline for Israelis stranded abroad during the current period, and the airline says it will keep adding capacity from Larnaca as demand requires. Passengers are encouraged to monitor their email and the “My Booking” page for updates, since flight assignments and departure times can shift at short notice depending on airport slots and operational conditions.
