Starting this February, Arkia will launch a new direct flight route to Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The flights will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, providing a convenient and swift connection between Israel and Belarus without the need for connecting flights. The flight duration to Minsk is 3 hours and 45 minutes on the outbound journey and 3 hours and 30 minutes on the return.

Belarus is the second-largest country among the former Soviet Union states, and in the past two years, there have been almost no commercial flights on this route. The relaunch of this route presents a significant opportunity to reconnect with the large and culturally rich Jewish community residing in the country. Additionally, Minsk has undergone rapid development in recent years, transforming into a surprising European destination that combines rich culture, vibrant nightlife, diverse culinary options, and particularly affordable prices.

Flight prices will start from $249 one way.

Sapir Ifargan, Arkia’s VP of Commerce: “Arkia continues to expand its destination map in response to growing demand and the company’s growth plan for 2026. The launch of the direct route to Minsk is a significant step that strengthens ties between Israel and Belarus. This is a destination of historical, cultural, and economic importance. We believe that the new flights will offer passengers high accessibility, comfort, and attractive prices.”
