Historic Move by El Al: The Airline Launches 9 New Destinations – Including Seoul, Hanoi, and Manila
El Al is embarking on a historic initiative, announcing the opening of nine new destinations worldwide – including three long-haul destinations in Asia and six holiday destinations in Europe via Sun d’Or. This marks the largest expansion in the company’s history, with a network of approximately 60 destinations offering direct flights to and from Israel.
Breaking into New Markets in Asia
El Al will begin operating direct flights to three new Asian destinations:

Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam

Seoul – South Korea

Manila – the Philippines
The flights will operate three times a week, utilizing the new Dreamliner aircraft featuring three classes: Economy, Premium, and Business. Beyond the tourism appeal, these routes are expected to strengthen Israel’s economic and business ties with Eastern countries, as El Al will also offer connecting flights in collaboration with regional airlines.
Ticket sales to Hanoi will open today (Sunday) for flights starting from October 2026, starting at $899 round trip. Sales for the Seoul route will begin in May, for flights in March 2027, and details about Manila will be announced later.
New Vacation Destinations in Europe with Sun D’Or
Meanwhile, Sun D’Or from the El Al group is adding six new routes:

Zagreb and Dubrovnik – Croatia
The destinations will be offered at attractive prices: Sardinia and Croatia starting from $339, Sicily from $389, Basel from $439, and Copenhagen starting from $529. Sales will open today on the El Al website and the Flight Hunter website.
A New Record in Global Activity
With the new additions, El Al will operate approximately 900 weekly flights, including up to 55 weekly flights to North America, five flights to Japan, and 16 flights to Thailand. The company is expected to announce new collaborations with international airlines for additional global connections.
