The Uzbek airline Centrum Air announces the launch of a new direct flight route between Ben Gurion Airport and the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan. This marks an expansion of the company’s operations in Israel, following the commencement of a bi-weekly route to Tashkent earlier this year.
Direct Flights to Samarkand Starting October 29, 2025
The new Tel Aviv route will begin operations on 10/29/2025 and will include a weekly flight every Wednesday. The flights will be conducted using Airbus A320 aircraft, and the schedule is expected to be as follows:

Flight C6-373 will depart from Samarkand (SKD) at 02:45 and arrive in Tel Aviv (TLV) at 05:15.

Flight C6-374 will leave Tel Aviv at 08:10 and reach Samarkand at 15:55.
Impressive Growth in Passenger Traffic from Israel to Uzbekistan
According to the Airports Authority, there has been a dramatic increase in demand for the destination:

Between January and August 2025, 16,286 Israelis flew to Samarkand, an increase of 148% compared to the same period last year.

In August alone, 4,276 passengers flew to the destination, compared to 1,739 in August 2024.

To Tashkent, 32,484 passengers flew during the same period, a growth of 30%.

Centrum Air offers three service levels to choose from:

BASIC – starting at $397: includes a carry-on up to 8 kg and an in-flight meal.

OPTIMAL – starting at $441: includes a 23 kg suitcase and seat selection.

Combined Flights Between Tashkent and Samarkand
The company, represented in Israel by APG Israel from the Maman Group, also allows combination between destinations – for example, a flight from Tel Aviv to Samarkand and return from Tashkent (or vice versa), starting at $365 for BASIC level and $409 for OPTIMAL level.
New Destination in Asia: Connecting Flights to Phuket
In addition to operations from Israel, Centrum Air will soon expand its connecting routes, starting October 3, 2025, the company will begin operating flights from Tashkent to Phuket in Thailand, allowing Israelis to enjoy a convenient connection to the Far East.
