Arkia Communications | July 2025
The airline Arkia announces the resumption of its direct flight route to the Cypriot resort city of Paphos, starting Sunday, July 13, 2025. This marks a welcome return to one of the most sought-after destinations among Israeli travelers, with seven weekly flights – a daily service at particularly convenient times.
The decision to renew the route was made after receiving all necessary security approvals and is seen as another step in Arkia’s return to the international summer map. Flights will operate from Ben Gurion Airport directly to Paphos Airport, allowing Israelis to enjoy a nearby, sunny, and accessible vacation – featuring enchanting beaches, stunning natural sites, family-friendly hotels, and especially affordable prices.
Oz Berlovich, CEO of Arkia, stated:
“The long-awaited news has arrived – we are returning to fly our customers to one of the most beautiful and beloved destinations in Cyprus. I would like to thank first and foremost Meni Duanis, Head of Operations, and all the security teams for their persistence, dedication, and assistance in approving the route’s opening.
We have a hot summer ahead of us – and more destinations are already warming up on the runway. We will surprise you soon.”
In recent years, Paphos has become a preferred destination among families with children, couples, and vacationers seeking the perfect blend of quality vacation at an accessible price, combined with geographical proximity and convenience. The renewal of the route offers travelers another excellent option for a summer holiday – without venturing far from home.
