IAA Spokesperson: Starting Monday, December 2, 2024, and currently planned until the end of March 2025, all domestic flights operating at Ben Gurion Airport, including flights to Eilat, will operate exclusively from Terminal 3. During this period, Terminal 1 will undergo upgrades and maintenance. It is recommended to check Ben Gurion Airport’s flight schedule: www.iaa.gov.il. Further details state:

  1. Relocation of Domestic Operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 Starting December 2, 2024

For public awareness, Starting Monday, December 2, 2024, domestic operations to Ramon Airport will be relocated from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3. The relocation will commence with the first morning flight on Monday, December 2, 2024. Passengers on outbound flights to Ramon Airport will proceed to Area G, Level G, Terminal 3. Passengers on inbound flights landing at Ben Gurion will exit from Terminal 3. It is important to note that international flights depart from and arrive at Terminal 3. With domestic flights moving to Terminal 3, travelers heading to Eilat or Ramon Airport should plan for extra walking time and allow a little more buffer before departure, especially during the first few weeks of the transition while signage and staff get used to the new routine. Terminal 3 is generally well equipped with shops, cafes, and seating, so the change should not significantly affect the overall travel experience once the adjustment period passes. If you are dropping off or picking up a passenger on a domestic flight, make sure to check the updated terminal information before heading to the airport, since older directions and saved bookmarks may still point to Terminal 1. Signage throughout Ben Gurion Airport is being updated gradually, but during the changeover it is worth allowing a few extra minutes to find the correct check-in area. Domestic flights at Terminal 3 will use the same baggage and security procedures as before, so the main difference for passengers is simply the location.
