El Al has announced the signing of a codeshare agreement with Romania’s national airline, TAROM. Under this agreement, El Al’s flight prefix (LY) will be added to flights operated by TAROM between Tel Aviv and Bucharest. Together, the two airlines will operate 18 weekly flights on this route. Ticket sales for the joint flights will commence on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with the first flight under the agreement scheduled to take off on April 1, 2025.
