Traveling Abroad This Weekend? Important Change Between Thursday and Friday Night
Important Notice for International Travelers: On the night between Thursday and Friday, March 27–28, 2025, Israel will switch to daylight saving time. As a result, there will be temporary changes in the border control systems at Ben Gurion Airport.
What Does This Mean?
Between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM on Friday, services will not be available, and it will not be possible to issue temporary passports at the Population Authority counters at Ben Gurion Airport.
What Should You Do?
If you plan to fly that night, ensure your passports are valid, prepare in advance, and do not rely on last-minute solutions at the airport.
