After a hiatus, the Dutch airline KLM resumes its Tel Aviv-Amsterdam route, reinstating flights to Israel starting today (Sunday, 28.9). Flights will operate daily, with a technical stop in Larnaca on the way to Israel, and a direct flight from Amsterdam to Ben Gurion Airport on the return.

The flights will be operated using Boeing 737-900 aircraft and will be offered daily, providing a significant increase in capacity between Israel and the Netherlands.

KLM’s return to operations in Israel is part of the Air France-KLM Group’s effort to enhance service for passengers to and from Israel. This follows Air France’s recent resumption of flights to Paris. For Israeli travelers, this means reopening numerous connection options to destinations in Europe, America, Asia, and Africa through the two hubs – Schiphol (KLM) and Charles de Gaulle (Air France).

Suspension and Renewed Return
KLM suspended its operations to Israel during the conflict in Iran, shortly after attempting to resume the route last June. Now, with the renewal of flights, this marks another positive sign of foreign aviation returning to Ben Gurion Airport amidst the security situation.
