Lufthansa Group Resumes Its Flights to Tel Aviv
A Lufthansa Group spokesperson announced that the group’s airlines – Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Eurowings – will gradually resume flights to and from Tel Aviv starting February 1, 2025.
The group’s announcement said the resumption will take place in stages, in line with assessments of the security situation and passenger demand. This is a significant step for Israel’s aviation industry, as the Lufthansa Group is one of the largest and most influential in Europe.
The Lufthansa Group’s announcement joins the wave of flights resuming to Israel. After Italian carrier ITA Airways announced this week its return to Israel from February 1, and after several other airlines resumed their flights, including Wizz Air, which added about ten destinations to its schedule from January 15, now Europe’s largest airline group is joining the trend and announcing the return of its flights to Israel.
The group’s airlines will continue to offer high-quality, convenient service to passengers, in line with their well-known high standards.
