After a pause due to the security situation in Israel, the Swiss airline SWISS, owned by the Lufthansa Group, resumes its direct route from Zurich to Tel Aviv today (September 25).
Initially, the airline will operate one daily flight on the Tel Aviv–Zurich route, using a wide-body Airbus A330, featuring a business class with seats that convert into flat beds and full service for premium passengers.
Later, with the start of the winter flight schedule at the end of October, SWISS plans to expand operations to two daily flights, which will be operated by narrow-body Airbus A321 aircraft.
The return of SWISS to Israel strengthens the Lufthansa Group’s presence in the local market, providing a quality alternative for passengers wishing to travel to Switzerland or continue on connecting flights to additional destinations across Europe and the world.
