After a hiatus of approximately three months, the French airline Transavia France has resumed its direct route between Orly Airport in Paris and Ben Gurion Airport. This marks another step in the gradual return of international airlines to Israel, with recent additions including American carrier Delta and Latvian airline airBaltic.
The company halted its operations to Israel in June due to security concerns, but now, after a thorough reassessment of the situation, it has resumed this popular route to benefit travelers from both Israel and France.
Operational Schedule
Transavia France is expected to operate the route extensively throughout the week, with daily flights from Monday to Friday, totaling 12 flights per week. This represents a near-full return to regular operations, while maintaining operational flexibility in response to security developments.
A Step Forward in Air Transport Recovery
The return of Transavia signifies further strengthening of the flight schedules to and from Israel. As more foreign airlines join in, the trend of reconnecting Israel with Europe, especially to popular destinations like Paris, is growing, expanding the options for travelers to find convenient flights at competitive prices.
