The American airline United Airlines is expanding its routes to Israel, announcing the return of two routes to Tel Aviv from Chicago and Washington D.C. – in addition to existing flights from Newark/New York.

United will be the only American airline to operate direct flights from both Chicago and Washington to Israel, a move that solidifies its position as the American airline with the most extensive presence in Israel.

Operational Schedule:

  • ✈️ Chicago (O’Hare) – Tel Aviv: Starting November 1, 2025, four weekly flights

  • ✈️ Washington (Dulles) – Tel Aviv: Starting November 2, 2025, three weekly flights

These routes are being reinstated after a hiatus since 2023 and are expected to offer more convenient connections between Israel and the central and southeastern United States.

Significant Strengthening of Bilateral Ties

In addition to the new routes, United continues to operate two daily flights between Tel Aviv and New York (Newark), with all routes subject to a thorough operational security assessment.

According to Patrick Quayle, Senior Vice President at United:

“The resumption of these flights is a testament to our ongoing commitment to Israel and our passengers.”

Tickets for all United routes to Tel Aviv can be obtained at the best prices on the ‘Flight Hunter’ website, which includes a smart price comparison system and simple booking in Hebrew, subject to Israeli consumer protection law.
