Welcome Back to Israel: IAA’s Campaign for International Airlines Resuming Operations at Ben Gurion Airport

In recent days, many international airlines returning to Israel have announced their comeback to operations at Ben Gurion Airport. This follows improvements in the security situation and ceasefires in the north and south. Among the airlines returning to Israel are Air France, Transavia, Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, Eurowings, ITA, Brussels Airlines, Air India, Air Baltic, and more.

IAA’s Unique Campaign for the Return of Airlines

The Israel Airports Authority (IAA) has launched a special campaign titled “Welcome Back to Israel,” aiming to greet international airlines and their crews upon their return to operations in Israel. This campaign is displayed on duty-free screens at Ben Gurion Airport and is customized for each airline. As part of the campaign, a “Welcome Back” message appears in English and the national language of the airline, such as French, German, Italian, Hindi, Latvian, and more. Each airline receives a warm welcome on the day it resumes operations in Israel. So far, Air France was the first airline to resume operations and receive the IAA’s greeting, landing in Israel last Saturday. Following that, today, Transavia also returns to Ben Gurion Airport and receives a similar welcome. Join our WhatsApp group for updates
