The Indian airline, Air India, has once again postponed the resumption of its operations in Israel, with the direct route between Tel Aviv and New Delhi remaining suspended until at least the beginning of 2026.
The company announced that it is extending the suspension of flights on the Tel Aviv-New Delhi route until the end of December 2025. This decision means that in the coming months, there will be no direct flights between Israel and India, especially since El Al is also not currently operating flights to this destination.
This move follows previous delays by Air India over the past year. It was previously announced that the route would resume in October 2025, but the date has now been postponed again, contrary to the gradual resumption trend of many foreign airlines that have renewed their flights to Ben Gurion Airport.
Alongside the official announcement, passengers who had already booked tickets for December have recently received updates about the cancellation of their flights, indicating that a return to operations is not expected before the beginning of next year.
