All Flights to Eilat Now Depart from Terminal 3
Starting Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Israel Airports Authority is changing the departure location for domestic flights to Eilat. All flights to Eilat will now depart from Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport, instead of Terminal 1, as was previously the case. This is a temporary measure due to upgrade work at Terminal 1, but passengers will feel the impact starting this week.
Where to Check-In?
The check-in and security screening for flights to Eilat will be conducted in the new G area located on the ground floor of Terminal 3. This is a dedicated area specifically prepared for the transfer of domestic flights, providing full service to passengers.
Arrivals from Eilat – Terminal 1
Despite the change in departures, flights arriving from Eilat will continue to land at Terminal 1 as usual, with no changes. This means passengers will depart from Terminal 3 but will land at Terminal 1.
What About International Flights?
The change applies only to domestic flights to Eilat. International flights scheduled to depart from Terminal 1 will continue to operate from there as usual, with no changes.
Objective: Upgrade and Enhance Passenger Experience
The Israel Airports Authority emphasizes that the transfer of departures from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 is intended to facilitate essential upgrade work while maintaining operational continuity. The upgrades at Terminal 1 are expected to improve passenger services and the airport’s ability to handle increasing traffic volumes in the near future.
