Arkia Updates Baggage Fees for International Flights – Effective July 1, 2025
After a prolonged period of maintaining highly competitive prices, the airline Arkia announces an update to its baggage fees for international flights, following a general increase in operational costs in the global aviation industry. The new prices will take effect from July 1, 2025.
According to the company’s announcement, the price increase will affect only baggage purchased from July 1, regardless of the flight date. This means that anyone purchasing baggage in advance – by June 30, 2025, can enjoy the current prices. This move is intended to allow passengers to plan ahead and save on costs.

• Pre-order: $45 (instead of $40 currently)
• Purchase at the airport: $90 (unchanged) -
8 kg Trolley:
• Pre-order: $20 (instead of $15 currently)
• Purchase at the airport: $25 (instead of $20 currently)
Competitive Baggage Prices Even After Update
Despite the increase, Arkia emphasizes that the company’s baggage fees remain among the lowest and most affordable among low-cost airlines operating from Israel, especially when purchased in advance.
The company recommends its passengers purchase baggage at the ticket booking stage to ensure a discounted price and avoid unnecessary charges on the day of the flight.
