Arkia and JetBlue Team Up: Easier Connecting Flights to the US
The new Arkia JetBlue partnership gives Israeli travelers a real upgrade in comfort and choice. Interline connections now reach dozens of cities across the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America, with baggage checked straight through and schedules coordinated between the two carriers.
How the Arkia JetBlue Partnership Works
Arkia has signed an interline agreement with JetBlue, the sixth-largest airline in the United States and a carrier with an extensive network across North America, the Caribbean, and Central America. The deal links Arkia’s flights out of JFK Airport in New York with JetBlue’s onward connections. In practice, the two airlines coordinate schedules and tag baggage straight through to the final destination. If something goes wrong along the way, whether that’s a delay, a missed connection, or a cancelled leg, Arkia and JetBlue share responsibility for getting passengers where they’re going.
Why It’s Good News for Israeli Travelers
- ✈️ Faster connections to sought-after cities such as Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Orlando, and Washington D.C. Travelers on Arkia’s New York route can now push on to dozens of onward destinations without booking a separate ticket.
- 🧳 One bag check-in for the whole trip – no need to collect and recheck luggage at the connecting airport.
- 🕓 No repeat security screening or check-in at the connection, which adds up to real time savings on a long journey.

Where the Network Reaches: US, Caribbean, and Central America
Through JetBlue, Arkia passengers can now continue on to an impressive range of onward destinations spread across three regions.
Popular Destinations in the United States
Los Angeles, Orlando, and Miami (via Fort Lauderdale) sit alongside New Orleans, Chicago, San Diego, Denver, Detroit, San Francisco, Boston, Washington D.C., Las Vegas, and dozens of other cities. For the fuller picture, Arkia’s summer 2026 destinations overview maps out the airline’s wider route network.
The Caribbean
Aruba, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico are joined by Antigua, Barbados, Curaçao, Trinidad, Saint Lucia, and Saint Martin.
Central and South America
On the mainland, connections extend to Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Mexico (Cancún), Ecuador, and Guyana. A full list of the exact airport codes appears at the end of this article.
Booking Process: Travel Agents First, Direct Access Later
For now, tickets are issued only through certified travel agents booking via GDS systems, the same process used for many of Arkia’s flight-hunting sales today. Airline officials say a direct booking interface for the general public may follow once the interline system is up and running.
What Airline Leaders Are Saying
JetBlue: Dave Jaan
“The agreement with Arkia expands our operational range and provides customers with a wider variety of destinations and convenient connections.”
Arkia: Oz Berlovich, CEO
“The agreement is a significant step in expanding Arkia’s operations in long-haul flights – we will continue to work for the benefit of the Israeli traveler.”
Meanwhile, that focus on long-haul flying lines up with a wider shift underway at Arkia, visible too in the airline’s new wide-body jet upgrade.
