Sukkot at Muza: A Family Experience During Chol Hamoed
What to do with the kids during Chol Hamoed Sukkot? The Eretz Israel Museum in Tel Aviv invites you to a variety of festive, creative, and enriching activities for the whole family.
Between the dates of October 8–11, 2025, from Wednesday to Saturday, Muza – Eretz Israel Museum Tel Aviv invites families with children to a rich cultural celebration during Chol Hamoed Sukkot, featuring an interactive exhibition, dance performances, a creative workshop, and an open musical performance on the museum lawns.
The activities will take place daily between 10:30 AM–2:00 PM, and afterward, visitors can continue to explore the museum’s diverse permanent exhibitions.
New Exhibition: “Worth the Wait”
The waiting experience receives a new interpretation in an interactive exhibition showcasing historical items from the museum’s collections alongside contemporary works. Through activity stations, visitors will be exposed to the concept of anticipation – from visiting a friend to waiting for a birth. The exhibition is displayed at the Alexander Pavilion for Postal and Philatelic History.
Children’s Dance Show: “Recycle Story”
An original dance performance for children and families by the “Bama Nima Yaakobi” group, combining movement, music, and theater. Through images of apples, plastic bags, and natural elements, the show stimulates discussion about the environment, personal responsibility, and the restoration of the Earth.

Creative Workshop: “Cuckoo Clocks”
In a creative and original workshop, children will make a colorful and unique cuckoo clock by hand.

Open Musical Performance: “Rhythm of Life”
Musician Itay Reznik will take you on a rhythmic and exciting journey featuring percussion and music from different cultures – the whole family is invited!
At 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM | Duration: 45 minutes | Outdoor performance on the lawns near the Glass Pavilion
