Facing Challenges and External Impacts
Despite negative impacts from the dollar exchange rate, financing expenses, compensation provisions, and the attack in Iran in the second quarter that led to a reduction of about $15 million in profit, Israir managed to maintain high profitability, partly due to leasing aircraft under a “wet lease” arrangement, which provided exceptionally high operational flexibility.
Towards Continued Growth: Plans to Acquire Wide-Body Airbus Aircraft
In 2025, Israir acquired two additional aircraft and is currently exploring investment in Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft, a move that could significantly enhance the company’s international capabilities.
