Ben Gurion Airport Continues to Break Records: Over 1.3 Million Passengers in November 2025

November 2025 is emerging as one of the strongest months in Israeli aviation since the COVID-19 crisis. According to the Israel Airports Authority, Ben Gurion International Airport recorded passenger traffic of 1,396,134 people on international flights, an increase of 62.41% compared to November of the previous year.
Increase in Passenger Traffic on Flights, and in the Number of Departures and Landings
In addition to the impressive increase in passenger traffic, the number of departures and landings also recorded a significant rise. In November, there were 10,666 aircraft movements, an increase of 52.76% compared to the same period in 2024.

The following companies recorded the highest volume of activity among all carriers at the airport:

El Al – Led the list with approximately 488,000 passengers, a slight increase of 0.35% compared to November 2024.

The Most Popular Destinations from Israel
The three main destinations flown to from Israel in November were:

United States – With over 161,000 passengers.

Greece – Maintained third place with over 93,000 passengers.
Other countries with high demand: France, Italy, Georgia, Hungary, Cyprus, United Kingdom, and Germany.
Annual Growth Trend
The report also includes cumulative data from the beginning of the year, showing that from January to November 2025, approximately 16.7 million passengers passed through Ben Gurion Airport, an increase of 30.88% compared to the same period in 2024. This figure indicates a remarkable recovery of the Israeli aviation sector, despite economic and security challenges.
The data indicates renewed confidence from airlines and Israeli passengers in Israel’s main airport. The opening of new routes, increased activity from low-cost carriers, and the return of foreign airlines all contribute to higher traffic that continues to rise steadily.
