I’m often asked about the best time to visit Dubai – which season is most recommended and which dates to consider when planning a holiday in this amazing city. So here’s a short explanation to help you plan your next trip.

Winter in Dubai – The Ideal Time
The most recommended season to visit Dubai is without doubt winter, between December and February. During this period, average temperatures range between 18 and 25 degrees – pleasant weather that lets you enjoy all the attractions Dubai has to offer.
It’s an ideal time for anyone planning a beach holiday, desert jeep tours, visiting Global Village, famous gardens such as the Miracle Garden, and the water parks. In summer, on the other hand, it’s very hot and humid – so if possible, it’s better to avoid the hot months of the year.
What Do You Do in Dubai in Summer?
Still, not everyone can travel in winter, and some people come specifically in summer, when temperatures easily reach 40–45 degrees with very high humidity. I travel to Dubai every summer myself, and I always say that walking from the hotel to the taxi – which takes about three seconds – I’m already drenched in sweat.
But don’t worry, you can enjoy Dubai in summer too. All the hotels are air-conditioned and there are pools everywhere, so you can stay in air-conditioned places or enjoy the pool. In summer most outdoor attractions aren’t operating, such as desert jeep tours, but there’s always something to do – like visiting the huge shopping centers, skiing at Ski Dubai and more.
Recommended Dates
The most recommended period for a holiday in Dubai is between November and February, with December the favorite month. You’ll also find pleasant weather over Passover, but it’s recommended to avoid July and August, when the heat can be unbearable.
For those planning to travel in the hot periods, there are also advantages. In the summer season, flight and hotel prices are usually cheaper, so if you can handle the heat, you can save significantly.
One more small tip – whether you choose to travel in winter or summer, book attractions in advance. It will save you a lot of time in lines and help you enjoy the experience more smoothly and pleasantly.
