El Al: Rescue Flights to Begin Tomorrow from These Destinations
El Al Spokesperson – Update Following the Security Situation and Company’s Preparation for Rescue Flights

El Al announces that after receiving state approval, it is preparing to operate rescue flights from several destinations in Europe, in accordance with the Ministry of Transport’s guidelines.
Tomorrow (Wednesday), El Al is expected to operate rescue flights from the following destinations: Larnaca, Athens, Rome, Milan, and Paris.
The company emphasizes that the flights are already fully booked and passengers have been pre-assigned. Notifications will be sent to them today.
El Al notes that it operates strictly according to the instructions of relevant security and aviation authorities, and that passenger assignments will be made based on the order of original flight cancellations, with priority given to exceptional medical and humanitarian cases.
Since yesterday, a dedicated registration for passengers whose flights were canceled has been opened via a link published on the company’s website. The company clarifies that there is no need to contact service centers, and that every passenger assigned to a flight will receive a direct notification from El Al.
It was further stated that passengers holding a valid El Al or Sun D’Or ticket to Israel, whose flight was canceled, are entitled to a rescue flight at no additional cost.
As of now, according to the state’s decision – there are no passenger departures from Israel abroad.
El Al states: “We understand the difficulty, uncertainty, and tension experienced by our customers outside Israel. Rescue flights will be operated gradually, and we recommend preparing accordingly with accommodation arrangements. Keep your receipts – eligibility for reimbursement will be examined according to legal provisions.”
