Do Not Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport: Private Vehicles Prohibited – Passengers Must Use Public Transport
Due to the sensitive security situation and Home Front Command directives, a clear warning has been issued: Do not arrive at Ben Gurion Airport – not for photography, not for passenger pickup, and not via taxis or private vehicles.
In a message conveyed to the media, official sources have requested avoiding visits to Ben Gurion Airport or Haifa Airport for coverage and photography purposes. “In the interest of ensuring the safety and security of the public – passengers, employees, and media personnel – entry to these areas will not be permitted, even with prior coordination,” it stated.
No Access for Families, Taxis, or Private Vehicles
According to security guidelines, the area surrounding the airport is closed to civilian vehicles. The implication: Passengers landing in the country cannot be picked up by family members or taxis, nor can they arrive independently by private car.
Special Public Transport Arranged in Advance – These Are the Only Options to Leave the Airport:

Free Shuttles – Operated by the Ministry of Transport. The shuttles depart from the arrivals hall (Level G) approximately 40 minutes after landing, following organized routes to major destinations across the country.

Israel Railways – The Ben Gurion Airport train station will operate as usual, but the service will be for a fee.
