The Moment We’ve Been Waiting For: Mount Hermon Site Reopens
According to the Mount Hermon site’s announcement, after a year and a half of closure since October 7, 2023, due to war and resulting damages, the Mount Hermon site will reopen to visitors on March 4, 2025. The snow that recently covered the mountain is expected to remain, offering an impressive winter experience. However, skiing will not be available at the site for now.
Due to infrastructure damage, including harm to two ski lifts, the reopening will only allow visitor entry for light snow activities and breathtaking views. The site’s management noted that restoration work will be carried out with the help of technicians from abroad, who are expected to arrive this summer to restore the site to full operation.
