Operation “Safe Return”: New Information Center Opened for Israelis Abroad
The Ministry of Transport announces the launch of the third phase of Operation “Safe Return” – a national program designed to enable Israelis abroad to return home, restoring routine gradually and cautiously.
As part of the new phase, a dedicated information center has been established for the public, providing answers to any questions regarding returning to Israel. The center is operated by the Home Front Command and will be available to citizens at the phone number 077-7703003. Operating hours:

Sunday to Thursday: 24 hours a day

Friday: until 13:00

Exceptions Committee for Urgent Requests
Alongside the information center, an Exceptions Committee operates for humanitarian and urgent requests for flight priority. The committee, headed by the Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office, includes representatives from additional ministries and government bodies.

Special Flights and Cruises: How to Register
As part of the operation, special rescue flights are operated by Israeli airlines El Al, Arkia, Israir, Air Haifa, and TUS, alongside cruises from Cyprus operated by Mano Maritime.

The Ministry of Transport emphasizes that the “Safe Return” operation is conducted according to the risk level and security assessment. Therefore, flight schedules may change, and there is even a possibility of returning aircraft to the point of origin in case of a security development.
The operation is managed in collaboration with the Ministries of Transport, Defense, Foreign Affairs, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Home Front Command, and other entities – with one goal: to allow Israelis to return home in a safe, responsible, and controlled manner.
