The Population and Immigration Authority has announced that from November 1, 2025, to February 29, 2026, the “Winter Rate” for passport renewal and issuance will be in effect. This initiative allows for a significant reduction in passport costs, particularly for those renewing online or through self-service kiosks.
Online Passport Renewal: New Pricing
According to the Population Authority’s announcement, the winter rate applies only to payments made through the website or self-service kiosks, with passports issued under standard conditions. The discounted payment can also be utilized in March and April 2026, provided the payment is made by the end of February.
Here are the detailed prices under the winter rate:

(instead of 280 NIS in summer rate, or 300 NIS at the branch) -
Passport Issuance for Children and Youth Under 18 Online – 105 NIS
(instead of 145 NIS in summer rate) -
Passport Issuance Due to Theft, Loss, or Damage:

Unlike previous years, this year the winter rate can also be utilized at the Ministry of Interior’s self-service kiosks located in branches nationwide. This is a significant convenience, especially for those wishing to avoid waiting for an appointment.
