What I mean is that in many cases there’s a misunderstanding, especially after midnight, when the date changes to the next day. We see this a lot, especially on flights to Georgia, where return flights from Tbilisi to Israel are usually around one in the morning. Many people get confused – for example, they want to return to Israel on Thursday, and by mistake buy the flight for Wednesday night. Why does this happen?
Very simply – the date and time are local. If you want to return on Thursday night, meaning the night between Thursday and Friday, you need to book the flight for Friday’s date. The same goes for long flights to New York and so on. Pay attention to these things – the times are local too. Many times people come to me and say: “Can you help me? I accidentally bought the flight for Wednesday night, and I wanted to return on Thursday night.”
In such cases, it’s really recommended to pay close attention to the local time. Remember, the flight time is according to local time – that’s the usual practice.
