Official Return: Transavia France Resumes Flights to Israel
After a year-long hiatus, the French low-cost airline Transavia France has resumed operations in Israel today (June 3, 2025). Two flights landed at Ben Gurion Airport today—the first at 16:00, followed shortly by the second—marking the renewal of the direct route between Tel Aviv and Orly Airport in Paris.
Starting today, the airline is expected to operate a daily scheduled flight between Paris (Orly) and Tel Aviv, offering low-cost service at attractive prices. The flights will be conducted using narrow-body Boeing aircraft and will include basic service—aligned with the popular model of the airline, which is part of the Air France-KLM Group.
Transavia’s return is part of a broader renewal within the group: Air France resumed flights to Israel last week, and KLM restarted its operations just this past weekend. Together, these three airlines are rebuilding the network of routes between Israel and Europe, bringing hope for aviation stability at Ben Gurion Airport.
This is welcome news for travelers, business people, and Jewish communities in France—who can once again enjoy a convenient, relatively inexpensive, and accessible route between the two countries.
